Longham Scouts become fete warriors

The Scouts teamed up with Griffins Explorer Unit to assist the organisers of the 2017 Ferndown Fete on the Field.  It turned out to be quite an eventful day for everyone.  They helped marshal the 5 and 10km runs by dotting themselves around the town to water and guide the weary sweaty runners.  Following this, they aided marshalling of the notorious pram race.  This year, they came to the rescue of the Mad Max team who needed a good push and rescuing from a crash.  The organisers were very thankful to all those that were involved.

The Leaders, who were assisting the District team at the Scouts stall also had an unexpected visitor from the dark side!

With the Mad Max team.
