One big camp!

Goose, meaning a 'Great Opportunity for Outstanding Scouting Excellence', is an exciting, adventurous, thought-provoking camp in Dorset for Scouts & Explorer Scouts. Goose 2004 was a resounding success with 800 people participating. We had people from all over Dorset as well as groups from Wales, Ireland, Germany, and Canada. Everyone had a great week which was very tiring for all.

What more could you ask for?

Many projects and activities took place. These included paragliding, gliding, laser clay pigeon shooting, air rifle shooting, archery sailing, canoeing, rafting, quad biking, climbing, abseiling and hill walking, also building a traditional roundhouse.

What's next?

Maybe you would like to join us next time in 2007 the hundredth anniversary of Scouting. The campsite is only a few miles from Brownsea Island where it all started.
