A Crab-tastic Evening

After a very hot week, the Cubs were pleased to get outside and enjoy a pleasant sea breeze. They spent the evening of crab fishing and set new record for Longham with 364 crabs caught in one evening.

Many Cubs are now becoming expert in the sport and have their own ‘secret’ baits, special lines and traps. Everyone had great success and filled their buckets.

One managed to make friends with a seagull which shocked others with its low altitude flybys!

Thank you to all the parents who came along to help (and had fun themselves).
