Longham Cubs collected plenty of medals at the District Cub Swiming Gala on 18 February. Adam F (Pythons) took 3 Gold, Connor (Cobras) 2 Gold and 1 Bronze, Laurence (Cobras) 1 Bronze. In the under 9s relay and in the over 9s relay both teams took Silver. Well done to all of them!

Another excellent result in the finals of the District Air Rifle Shooting Competition. Congratulations to Jordan for finishing in top place and to Matthew W. Unfortunately their team score wasn't quite enough to hold on to the team trophy this time.

Congratulations to First Longham members who received awards at the District Presentation Evening on 8 November 2011:
Gus C and Max B - Chief Scout Bronze Award.
Joshua T - Chief Scout Silver Award.
Adam F who received a Certificate of Excellence from the District Commissioner, for having achieved Swimmer Stage 5 while still a Beaver Scout.
